Hello and welcome!  My name is Diane, and I have always been fascinated with the human mind and its functions, relating to the many ways we receive and process information. 

Early on, I developed a love for reading and as such, advanced two reading grade levels ahead in my curriculum. I obtained a degree in Clinical Psychology, and my curriculum included studies in childhood cognitive growth and development.  

I went on to spend several years in the social services sector, providing health and wellness services for children and their families. I tutored reading and math to learners aged ___ through _____ while I also counseled socially-challenged youth. We addressed issues relating to bullying, resolving verbal and/or physical altercations while also teaching healthy coping skills and positive life management strategies, to build confidence and self-esteem.

My lessons are geared towards creating a comfortable, learning environment where your learner can practice social skills and critical thinking. The goal is to make lessons fun, engaging, interesting and memorable!
